If mulCple embryos are produced, it will be the responsibility of the Mare Owner to noCfy SDP of the number of embryos produced. If Mare Owner desires to do a frozen embryo, it will solely be their responsibility to pay all fees associated. It is also the Mare Owner’s responsibility to noCfy SDP when the frozen embryo is uClized. Semen will be collected and shipped on SDP Buffalo Ranch’s breeding days only. In the event of limited supply, SDP Buffalo Ranch reserves the right to fly semen counter-to-counter on any given collecCon day at the mare owner’s expense. I also understand that, due to the number of mares being bred to the given stallion, there is a possibility that on some collecCon days, SDP Buffalo Ranch will not be able to ship semen. Customer mares will always take precedence over mares owned by SDP Buffalo Ranch, but customer mares bred on-site take precedence over semen shipments. 2. SEMEN WILL NOT BE SHIPPED NOR MARE BRED, UNTIL THE FEES AND SHIPPING ARE PAID IN FULL AND A SIGNED CONTRACT AND COPY OF MARE’S REGISTRATION PAPERS ARE ON FILE AT SDP BUFFALO RANCH. PAYMENT IS DUE AT THE TIME OF CONTRACT RETURN. 3. Semen orders must be placed by 8AM CST on the day of collecCon. 4. DO NOT ORDER SEMEN VIA EMAIL, TEXTING OR ANSWERING MACHINE. YOU MUST TALK TO SDP BUFFALO RANCH PERSONALLY TO ORDER SEMEN. 5. SDP Buffalo Ranch agrees to ship semen to my mare up to and including July 15th, a[er that date it will be on a case-by-case basis. MOST STALLIONS ARE COLLECTED YEAR-ROUND, BUT THAT IS THE CONTRACTED DATE FOR END OF SEASON. I further agree to give my veterinarian or SDP Buffalo Ranch ample opportunity to se\\le her (having bred her through at least three heat periods). If however, for any reason she does not se\\le, I will hold SDP Buffalo Ranch harmless. 6. It is further agreed that should the above named stallion die or become unfit for service and there is not any frozen semen available for use, or if my mare should die or become unfit to breed, then this contract shall become null and void, and any money paid as part of this service (except Chute Fee and shipping expense) shall be applied to another stallion standing at SDP Buffalo Ranch and shall be deemed a credit and I will be enCtled to a rebreed or subsCtuCon the following year. 7. I agree to breed the mare specified on the breeding contract. If a mare change/subsCtuCon is needed, the first subsCtuCon will be free of charge. Each addiConal subsCtuCon will have a $150 charge unless extenuaCng circumstances apply. A fine of $1,000 will be issued for inseminaKng any other mare without noKfying SDP Buffalo Ranch of the change first. 8. I agree to noCfy SDP Buffalo Ranch of the pregnancy status of my mare as soon as she is checked for pregnancy, regardless if mare is pregnant or open. A fee of $150 will be issued for failure to noCfy SDP Buffalo Ranch of the mares pregnancy status by September 1st, the Breeders CerCficate can not be generated nor will it be distributed unCl fee is paid if you fail to report. 9. I am guaranteed a live foal at the Cme of the signing of this contract and that if my foal does not stand and suck, I will be enCtled subsequent return in season to the same mare (unless mutually agreed) unCl a healthy foal is achieved. THIS GUARANTEE WILL APPLY ONLY IF I NOTIFY SDP BUFFALO RANCH WITHIN ONE (1) WEEK FROM DEATH; THIS NOTICE MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A STATEMENT FROM A LICENSED VETERINARIAN. There shall be no liability upon SDP Buffalo Ranch on account of said guarantee except to grant me a free season for 1 mare unCl a successful healthy live foal is achieved. Said free season shall refer to the Stud Fees only. The Chute Fee, Breeders InvitaConal Fee (if applicable), mare cycle fee (if applicable), and shipping expenses will be charged as usual. There is no expiraCon for this live foal guarantee. Rebreeds will be granted unCl a foal is produced. 10. I agree not to assign or transfer this contract without prior consent of SDP Buffalo Ranch. 11. If a stallion is sCll showing and it conflicts with our set collecCon days, fresh cooled semen will NOT be available. However, frozen semen will be an opCon to send, if available. You will receive two (2) breeding doses with each shipment of frozen semen. Shipping fees are the obligaCon of the mare owner. 12. A mandatory $125 fee for the Breeders InvitaKonal will be added if the stallion is nominated to the Breeders InvitaKonal. 13. CHUTE FEE ($675) IS NON-REFUNDABLE. 14. This agreement is made within the governing of Texas Law, and shall be performable within Tarrant County, Texas.Shipping Terms(Required) I agree to the shipping terms.1. The shipping container is the property of SDP Buffalo Ranch and does not require a deposit. However, SDP Buffalo Ranch requests that all containers be returned within 3 days. If the container is not returned it will be charged to the undersigned’s account. 2. SDP Buffalo Ranch reserves the right to approve all shipping locaCons. SDP will make every attempt to get semen to my mare in good condiCon; however, will make no guarantees or warranCes that the semen will be in good condiCon upon arrival as shipping couriers are beyond SDP Buffalo Ranch’s control. 3. The Frozen shipping container is the property of SDP Buffalo Ranch and is valued at $2,500. If the container is not returned within 3 business days, the card will be charged accordingly. SDP Buffalo Ranch does require a 48-hour noCce to prepare the tank for shipping. There is a $275 processing fee on all frozen semen shipments, which is included in the chute fee. 4. All InternaConal Health CerCficates ($150) will be at the mare owner’s expense. 5. An addiConal $225 fee will be applied to the customer’s account if counter to counter is requested on the first shipment. 6. Any addiConal shipments must be paid in full before semen will be shipped.
