Breeders Built This Industry.
Our Incentive Is Built for Breeders.
The SDP Breeders Bonus is the first global, multi-discipline breeder incentive of its kind — built to reward the people who made this industry what it is.
The SDP Breeders Bonus pays real money to breeders — percentage-based payouts tied directly to some of the biggest events in the world. Every mare bred funds her own foal’s eligibility, not someone else’s. It’s clean. It’s fair. It’s sustainable.
Breed an SDP Stallion
For 2027 foal crops and beyond, enrollment is automatic — included with your breeding. No extra steps required.
Your Foal Competes
When your foal is ready to show, they compete at eligible events across 5 disciplines in 4 international regions.
You Get Paid
Top placings in each division earn a percentage of the purse — paid directly to you. 100% payout, no office fees.
100% Payout
No office fees. Every dollar collected goes back out to the breeders who earned it.
International Reach
Eligible events in the USA, Australia, Europe, and Brazil — a truly global incentive.
5 Disciplines
Barrel Racing, Campdrafting, Cutting, Reined Cow Horse, and Roping — more chances to win.
Transparent Model
Payout by foal crop, not a revolving fund. You always know exactly where the money is going.
Stallion owners front-load the pot each year. The purse grows as more breeders participate.

Whether you bred in 2023 or are breeding in 2026 and beyond, there is a path for you.
2027 Foal Crops & Beyond
Bred to an SDP stallion in 2026 or later? Your foal is automatically enrolled — included with your breeding. No extra form, no extra fee.
Every SDP stallion breeding qualifies. Simple as that.
2023–2026 Foal Crops
Bred between 2023 and 2025? You can still participate — enrollment requires an opt-in fee based on when you sign up. Earlier is cheaper.
2023 Crop Fee Schedule:
| By Feb 1, 2026 | $300 |
| By Mar 1, 2026 | $400 |
| By May 1, 2026 | $500 |
| By Jul 1, 2026 | $800 |
| By Sep 1, 2026 | $1,000 |
| By Oct 1, 2026 | $1,250 |
Only breeders that opt in are eligible. A limited list of stallions qualify for 2023–2025 crops.
You may not always know where your foal will end up by the time they are ready to show — and that is okay. The SDP Breeders Bonus was built for breeders, but if you sell, you have the option to pass the enrollment right along to the new owner.
It is a built-in bonus for your buyer, and one more reason your horse stands out at the sale. That is the SDP Breeders Bonus working for you, even after the horse leaves your hands.
To transfer enrollment: simply fill out our transfer form and we will take care of the rest.
Do I have to do anything extra to enroll my 2026 foal?
No. If you bred to an SDP stallion in 2026 or later, your foal is automatically enrolled — nothing extra needed.
What events does my horse need to compete in?
There are eligible events across 5 disciplines — Barrel Racing, Campdrafting, Cutting, Reined Cow Horse, and Roping — held in the USA, Australia, Europe, and Brazil. The top 3 placements in each division at each listed event receive a bonus.
What if I sell my horse before they compete?
You have the option to transfer the enrollment to the new owner when you sell. Not required — but a great selling point. Just fill out our transfer form.
Are there any fees taken out of the payout?
No office fees — ever. 100% of the funds go back out to the breeders. The purse is paid by foal crop, not pooled into a revolving fund.

I have a foal from the 2023–2026 crops. Can I still participate?
Yes — but you will need to opt in and pay a fee. The fee increases the longer you wait. See the enrollment section above for the full fee schedule.
